Cookie policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

At present, the website and the platform only use cookies that are strictly necessary for them to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. To find out how many people visit the website, we use a measurement of visits that does not store anything on your device.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They are used, for example, to keep you signed in while you move between pages.

2. Cookies we use

We only use the cookies below. They are set when you sign in to the private area.

sb-*Supabase authentication cookies. They keep you signed in to the private area, the owners' portal and the app.Until you sign out (they are then deleted)Our own domain

All of these cookies are strictly necessary.

3. Measuring visits without cookies

On the public pages of the website we use Vercel Web Analytics to find out how many people visit us, which pages they view and where they come from. It does not use cookies and does not store anything on your device.

For each visit, the following is recorded anonymously: the page viewed, the website you came from, the country and region, the device type, the operating system and the browser. To count visitors without identifying them, a temporary code calculated from the request to the server is used, and it is deleted after 24 hours. We only ever see totals, never who each visitor is.

This measurement is not carried out in the private area or in the owners' portal.

4. Why we do not ask for consent

The law does not require consent for cookies that are strictly necessary for the service the user requests, such as keeping you signed in (Law No. 41/2004, Article 5). As we do not use any other cookies and the measurement of visits does not store anything on your device, the website does not show a consent banner.

If we ever want to use cookies that are not strictly necessary, for example for traffic analysis, we will ask for your consent before setting them and we will update this page.

5. How to manage cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you will not be able to sign in to the private area.

To find out more about how we process your data, see the privacy policy or write to privacidade@habiteight.pt.

6. Changes

We update this page whenever we change the cookies we use. The date of the last update is at the top.
